Independent labels breathe the life and soul into the music industry. Established in 2004, Criminal Records began to support a new music scene that was emerging in the UK. The goal, to bring you the best new music. Essentially, Criminal Records represents the die hard music fans that work behind the scenes.
Criminal Records’ ethos has always been to cultivate talent, real talent that is organic and not manufactured. It’s been a long road, but today, we are proud of the successes of our roster and have enjoyed the growth and widespread promotion of the music these acts make. This includes collaborations in America, Japan and across Europe, UK tours & International Tours, major TV coverage for music videos, countless radio playlists, great reviews and music inclusion in TV, film and gaming.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone for making all of this possible. It all starts with one person, and that may be someone just like you who took a shine to a particular song or an act that we represent. So here is to all the bands, fans, music promoters, pluggers, agents, supervisors and of course to our Street Team, who have all helped in one way or another to let our acts reach new audiences.
Now with hits under our belt and a recording studio, things are definitely a lot fiercer than when we started back in 2004. However, one thing that is still for sure, is there are so many talented acts out there. We may not be able to sign every single one, but we are always on the look out for those who fit with what we do.
